An evening at Soul Food typically starts with praise and worship, followed by a Bible teaching or talk on a particular theme. Each evening ends with a time of response such as prayer ministry, small group discussion/faith sharing or an opportunity for prayer or adoration. In order to grow together in our faith and friendship, we also make time for a drink together after our Thursday evenings of prayer as well as organising various other social gatherings.

Thursday 30th October

God at Work

This week we start a six part course 'God at Work' which is produced by Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB) Church.  We all know that work can take up a lot of our time -  maybe even too much time! Our identities can be defined by our work, but how do we make sure that God is transforming our whole lives, including our work?

God at Work will look at the challenges of living out faith at work and our struggles with issues like ambition, money, relationships, success and failure.  The theme of spiritual renewal is carried throughout the course and it is designed to be interactive with teaching, exercises and small group discussion.

Please consider inviting colleagues/friends/family along that you feel would benefit from doing this course. There is no charge other than a small donation for the course booklet.

Jamie Mulvaney from the God at Work team at HTB will start the series for us by presenting 'What does God think of my work?'

Soul Food Mass - Sunday 23rd November

Following on from the success of our first Soul Food mass in October and thanks to the generosity of the parish of St Charles Borromeo, we will have another mass on Sunday 23rd November at 5pm.

Please do take the opportunity to come and invite others to celebrate mass with our own Soul Food brand of music and fellowship.  Going forward we hope to celebrate mass on the 2nd Sunday of every month, so the next one in December will be on the 14th.
