An evening at Soul Food typically starts with praise and worship, followed by a Bible teaching or talk on a particular theme. Each evening ends with a time of response such as prayer ministry, small group discussion/faith sharing or an opportunity for prayer or adoration. In order to grow together in our faith and friendship, we also make time for a drink together after our Thursday evenings of prayer as well as organising various other social gatherings.

Coming up this week

Thursday 22nd January

Life in the Spirit Seminar: Welcome and Witness

This week sees the start of our much anticipated Life in the Spirit Seminar.  Adrian Freeney will give an introduction to the Life in the Spirit Seminar and a past guest will give a testimony of how they came to know God in a deeper way through it.

If you plan on coming to all of the Thursday sessions and the weekend we urgently need you to register!  This is so that we can put people into the same small group throughout the seminar and we need numbers for the weekend away. Please visit www.soulfoodgroup.org/liss to register.

Soul Food gets Nightfever - Saturday 31st January

One of the many outreach initiatives in London is Nightfever at St Patrick's Church, Soho Square - please have a good look at the Nightfever website to see what it is all about.

Each Nightfever evening starts with mass at 6pm followed by adoration, music and reconciliation from 7-10pm.  During this time volunteers go out into the nearby streets and invite people into the church to simply light a candle and say a prayer.

Soul Food will be actively supporting Nightfever on Saturday 31st January.  We would like to encourage as many of you as possible to participate as volunteers either going out into the nearby streets,  welcoming and hospitality or intercession during the evening.  If you can help out in any way or would like to know more please email nightfever@soulfoodgroup.org
